Char Dham Yatra Itinerary
Day 01) Haridwar/Rishikesh to Govindghat/Joshimath
Begin your yatra from the holy towns of Haridwar or Rishikesh, and drive through scenic mountain roads along the Alaknanda river to reach Govindghat or Joshimath.
Travel Time: 10-12 hours
Stay: Overnight in Ghangaria
Day 02) Trek to Ghangaria (13 km)
Start your trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria, the gateway to both Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers. The trail offers mesmerizing views of waterfalls, pine forests, and river confluences.
Trek Duration: 6–7 hours
Stay: Overnight in Ghangaria
Day 03) Visit Hemkund Sahib & Return to Ghangaria (12 km Trek)
Today is spiritually uplifting as you ascend to Hemkund Sahib. With its tranquil lake and divine atmosphere, this spot offers inner peace like no other.
Tip: Ponies are available if you wish to ease the trek.
Stay: Return and overnight at Ghangaria
Day 04) Explore Valley of Flowers & Return to Ghangaria (8–10 km Trek)
Descend to Govindghat or Joshimath. Time permitting, visit the famous Badrinath Temple, Mana Village (last Indian village), and Pandukeshwar Temple.

Day 05) Visit Hemkund Sahib & Return to Ghangaria (12 km Trek)

Day 06) Drive Back to Haridwar or Rishikesh
